The Exeter Giving Circle
The Women’s Fund is proud to support The Exeter Giving Circle. Established in October 2002, the Giving Circle is a group of women united by their concern for disadvantaged children and teens in the community. As a membership group, the Giving Circle aims to pool the human and financial resources of the members in order to effect change in individuals’ lives.
The Giving Circle reviews grant applications from nonprofit groups that provide services in the towns serving SAU # 16; which are Brentwood, East Kingston, Exeter, Kensington, Newfields, and Stratham. The Giving Circle supports programs that benefit disadvantaged children who live in the towns served by SAU #16 and projects that have a permanent impact on the participating individuals
To be eligible for consideration, applicant must be an approved 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization or be eligible for 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Grants will be considered that focus on the following priorities:
- Benefit disadvantaged children
- Children live in the towns served by SAU #16
- Projects should have a permanent impact on the individuals participating
- Grant awards range from $500 to $5000. The average grant is $2,000.
